Kavali: One person dies after falling from boat

Kavali: One person dies after falling from boat Katangari Brahmayya (34), a resident of Pedda Ramadu Palem village in Tummalapenta panchayat of Kavali Rural Mandal, had gone fishing with his villagers at Juvvaladinne Harbor on Sunday. He died after accidentally slipping off the boat while fishing near Tummalapenta. Based on the complaint of the deceased’s wife Gayatri, the Kavali Rural Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Pawan Kalyan’s key instructions on the safety of devotees  In the wake of the increasing rush of devotees in temples during the Kartik month, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has issued key orders on security and facilities. He held a review with the Kakinada District Collector and SP and suggested that coordination between departments is needed in queue management, sanitation and security arrangements. Keeping in mind the Kasibugga incident, orders have been issued to the Endowment Department to take strict action at temples.

Farmers are happy due to rains: Kavali MLA MLA Krishna Reddy said that farmers are happy as all the ponds in Kavali constituency have received plenty of water due to the cyclone. On Saturday, he held a review with irrigation and Somashila officials at the TDP office. He revealed that proposals worth Rs 2832.26 lakh have been prepared for 316 works related to ponds and drainages damaged by the rains and have been sent to the District Collector.
